Korean Skincare Routine 101 — Build Your Routine Step by Step

This is the no-fluff starting point. Korean Skincare Routine 101 — everything you actually need to know to build a routine that works, without wasting money on products you don't need yet.

All products linked here are available at VGLE Beauty, shipped from Canada with no customs fees.

The Golden Rule: Start Simple, Build Slowly

The biggest mistake beginners make is buying 8 products at once. If your skin reacts, you have no idea what caused it. Start with 3 products. Give your skin 2 weeks to adjust. Then add one product at a time.

Your first 3 products should always be:

  1. A gentle cleanser
  2. A moisturizer suited to your skin type
  3. An SPF 50+ sunscreen

Everything else is optimizing. These three are the foundation.

The Full Korean Skincare Routine — Every Step Explained

  5. Moisturizer — lock in hydration
  6. SPF 50+ — always last step, non-negotiable

  2. Water-Based Cleanser — double cleanse
